Young Set Theory Network

The Young Set Theory Network (YSTN) is a so-far extremely loose organisation of people interested and working in set theory. Our definition of "young" was originally "anyone without a permanent job", but perhaps this should be expanded to anyone with a youthful passion for set theory. In particular, no set theorist should be excluded from participating in this network and we'd love to have older set theorists contributing their knowledge to this wiki.

The YSTN is intended to bring together set theorists to exchange ideas and this wiki is a repository for set theory information and as a portal for this exchange. It is not intended to replace existing online tools such as mathoverflow, wikipedia and Open Problem Garden. Instead we encourage set theorists to use these tools in addition to this network.

You can participate and contribute to this network and wiki in the following ways:

  • Have a look at what content is in this wiki and what kinds of information we're interested in having here on the Community portal
  • Check out the list of Set Theory users and see what research people are interested in.
  • Feel free to add announcements by editing the template on the main page
