The Open Problem Garden tries to collect open problems from all of mathematics. You might reach a bigger audience when posting there as well.
At Mathoverflow you can reach a large community of mathematicians. You can ask research level questions (the idea is to find somebody else who knows the solution). People are friendly and professional.
